I recently got this very nice card of Anthony Beauvillier, signed in a blue sharpie which matches well with the New York Islander jersey colors. As you can see, this card was not prepped at all and if you zoom in on the card, you can see the ink bleeding on it. While I do advocate the actual prepping of the card, I appreciate that the player even signed the card for me in the first place!
Anthony is a 28th overall draftee in the highly hyped 2015 NHL entry draft, just 5 spots after NHL All-Star Brock Boeser. Anthony has actually done well, jumping from the Q into the NHL at 19 years of age last season. He amassed 24 points in 66 games and this year has taken a leap forward, surpassing his point total from the previous year to 29 points through 66 games thus far.
It’s funny when I read Anthony’s last name, as it reminds me of Marge Simpson’s maiden name, Bouvier, due to the mix of B’s and O’s and V’s in the last name. heh.
