Claude Lemieux is one of the dirtiest players the NHL has seen and I actually say that in a good way. Maybe I actually meant he played with an edge which at times, he crossed. Needless to say, Claude was very good at what he did. He won the Stanley Cup four times with three different teams (Canadiens, Devils & Avalanche). Claude was also known for the fact he would elevate his game during the post season, proven by the fact he currently resides 9th in NHL post season goals scored.
Claude started his career by being drafted in the 1983 NHL Entry draft by the Montreal Canadiens in the second round. That draft brought Hall of Famers like Steve Yzerman, Cam Neely and Dominik Hasek into the NHL.
At the end of his career, he finished 1777 PIMs and 786 points.
Based on his awards and accolades, do you think Claude Lemeiux should be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame?
Gettin’ the auto
I got this autograph from Claude Lemieux in about 300 days. His address was found on a forum that I frequent. This was a nice surprise since I wasn’t entirely sure if the cards would come back but they definitely did! He signed this older Topps hockey card in a blue sharpie.
There actually weren’t many links regarding Claude Lemieux but here were the best of the bunch.

Claude was right in the mix of things during those years of the Red Wings / Avalanche rivalry.
