I got this great card signed by Colton Sceviour of the Dallas Stars and former WHL Portland Winterhawk.
Colton played in the WHL for 5 years, starting in 2005 all the way to 2009 where he ended his junior career with the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He played a solid four years with the Portland Winterhawks, which made the playoffs only twice of the four years he was with the team but was then traded to the powerhouse Lethbridge Hurricanes during the trade deadline which had some great junior players in Juha Metsola and Mitch Fadden. During the 07/08 season, Lethbridge would go on to the WHL finals, losing to Spokane. Unfortunately for Colton, the next season didn’t fare much better, only reaching the conference semi-finals and losing in a sweep decision to the Calgary Hitmen.
Fortunately for Colton, he was drafted in 2007 by the Dallas Stars, going 112th overall. He had a long run with the organization, playing his first NHL game in 2010/11 season then eventually cracking the roster in the 2013/14 NHL season where he played a total of 26 games for the team. Colton would also then play for the team, putting up 26 and 23 point season but was subsequently left as a free agent where he signed a two year contract with the Florida Panthers. As of February 12, 2018, Colton resigned with the team for another three years.
Take a look at a previous post when I got Colton signed on a Texas Stars hockey card, back in 2012.
