Ivan Lodnia, who goes by the nickname of “Vanya”, was acquired by the Niagra IceDogs this past CHL offseason in exchange for Danial Singer, and a conditional 5th round pick in 2019 (from Kingston). He had done well with the Erie Otters, scoring 116 points in 2 seasons. This season, he’s scored 16 points in 15 games – setting himself up for hopefully a career setting season.
During 2017, Ivan was drafted by the Minnesota Wild, going 85th overall. This year he was invited to the Traverse City Tournament where he posted one goal and three assists. He also was invited to the WJSS, representing Team USA White. During the showcase, looked like he picked up three points.
Gettin’ the auto
This autograph was sent back to me in 25 days straight from Ivan’s current team, the Niagra IceDogs. So far this season, this is my first and only return from Ivan although back in the day, I also got Freddie Hamilton when he was a forward for the team.
Looks like there is a bit of a beat on Ivan as he showcased his skills this past season
