I’m a little late to the party today, but today’s blog post brings us Rogie Vachon, known best for his quick glove and stellar reflexes. He has earned the milestone of never letting in a penalty shot in his entire career.
Little known fact that I just learned was that Rogie was the GM of the LA Kings that brought Wayne Gretzky into the mix in LA. That’s a pretty cool little fact of history!
Before Rogie brought in Gretzky, he was making his own history, winning three Stanley Cups with the Montreal Canadiens and made his way into the HHOF in 2016 in the players’ category. I’m happy to have gotten Rogie as he’s definitely a legend in his own right and helped shape the game for the USA.
