Shawn Boudrias currently plays for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles out of the QMJHL. During his QMJHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the 1st round, which included talents such as Maxime Comtois and Shane Bowers. For the Charlottetown Islanders, they had the 13th overall pick. He was recently drafted by the Minnesota Wild at the Entry Draft, going 179th overall.
For Shawn, it has been a steady climb to reach where he’s gotten to in his career. He started off his rookie season in the Q with 8 points in 53 games. I’d assume that he likely had sheltered minutes while the more veteran players got more ice time and responsibilities. Fast forward to today and he just finished last season with a career high of 60 points in 60 games with the Gatineau Olympiques. It appeared as if Shawn was going to match that point total, as he had 30 points in 30 games before being traded off to the Screaming Eagles.
Gettin’ the auto
I think it’s safe to say that I had expected this hockey card returned to me in within two months, which it did. Shawn signed it in a blue ink, right where the ice appears on the card. I’m not sure how much experience Shawn has with signing hockey card but I would say that it’s the perfect location on this card. Given the fact that his jersey is almost all black, it’d be really difficult to see his autograph.
According to a few of the articles below, the focus is on Shawn’s size.
