Jordan Schroeder

I was really hoping that Jordan Schroeder was going to end up as a long time, extremely productive player for the Vancouver Canucks.  This isn't the first time that I got his autograph, as I had actually met him in my days when I used to hound hockey players.  Judging by previous 2009 posts, he... Willie Mitchell

Willie Mitchell has to be one of my favourite hockey players to have suited up for the Vancouver Canucks.  While he's long gone from the game, I'll always remember how he just seemed to scream leadership whenever he took the ice.  He was cool, calm and collected when defending the other teams' top players.  Of... Chris Tanev

Chris Tanev is one of the most underrated defensemen in the NHL.  He's currently the veteran defenseman on the team at the age of 28.  While the Canucks not expected to make the playoffs this year, he and Alex Edler are doing their best to make that happen. Prior to the start of Chris' career,... Continue Reading →

Sven Baertschi

Sven Baertschi has been a pleasant surprise for many Canucks fans.  He was casted away from the Calgary Flames for a 2015 2nd round draft pick (Rasmus Andersson) in a trade that drew mixed reviews.  Of course, the debate of whether Vancouver should have kept the second round pick and pick Rasmus themselves will still... Trevor Linden

Trevor Linden is one of the most iconic players of the Vancouver Canucks.  Of course, the argument for the Sedins and Pavel Bure can be made as well. Trevor got his start in the NHL by being drafted into the league in 1998 by the Vancouver Canucks and played a total of 10 years during... Continue Reading →

Jim Benning

From Edmonton, Alberta over to Vancouver, BC we have another former NHL player who now resides in the management team in Jim Benning. Jim is obviously the GM for the Vancouver Canucks and has brought star players like Brock Boeser and (hopefully soon) Elias Petterson into the once thin prospect pool. I do like what... Garth Butcher

Former Vancouver Canuck, Garth Butcher was a "tough as nails" retired NHL hockey player. He played an aggressive style which earned him a reputation of a "needler" for the ability to goad players into taking penalties. Garth's claim to fame could be the fact that his style of play resulted in a trade, with Garth... Continue Reading →

Trevor Linden

Good Ol' Trevor Linden.  Always the type of player to play with his emotions on his sleeve, he's still absolutely famous around the Lower Mainland in BC.  Trevor was drafted by the Canucks in 1988, which featured Mike Modano going 1st overall.  That draft year had some fairly good players, such as Mark Recchi, Tony... Ryan Kesler

Ryan Kesler, also known as RK17, has been another fantastic player for the Canucks this playoff season.  He's been excellent on faceoffs and wears his emotions on his sleeve.  Ryan didn't score a goal for the better part of the NHL playoffs, but now has turned it up.  Great job Ryan!  Glad to see you'll... Cory Schneider

A solid goaltender for the Canucks, Cory has definitely helped rack up some wins this season with the Canucks.  With 25 games this season, he's won 16 of those games.  Pretty impressive!  I hope him and Luongo will be the Canucks' tandem for a while as they're proving to be a solid goaltending tandem.  Thanks... Dan Hamhuis

Mr. Dan Hamhuis.  I've gotten his autograph before, actually on this same card, except this one doesn't have that blue spot from the ink spill my dad had.  Thank goodness!!!!

Christian Ehrhoff

Christian Ehrhoff is a German born NHL player who plays for the Vancouver Canucks.  He used to play for the San Jose Sharks, but is now using his great shot and mobility to get past his former team.  Great job on having such a good season and playing so well in the playoffs!  Go Canucks!
