Vince Loschiavo, drafted to the Kootenay Ice, is now a member of the Edmonton Oil Kings. In the last couple of years, he’s made his way to a couple different teams in the WHL. He was initially drafted by the Ice in 2013, going 31st overall. He played almost for seasons with the Kootenay Ice, gaining the coveted “A” on his chest in his last couple seasons with the team. In the 2017/18 WHL season, Vince was traded to the Moose Jaw Warriors for Jakin Smallwood and a conditional 3rd round pick in 2020.
He ended his tenure with the Moose Jaw Warriors with a fourteen game performance. Eventually, Vince was traded in the offseason for Nick Bowman & a 6th round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft.
In 2017, Vince was invited to the Dallas Stars development camp alongside Brett Davis. I wasn’t able to find out how well Vince had done or if he had impressed at camp. I’d love to hear if anyone has any information!
Gettin’ the auto
This was an easy decision for me to send to Vince Loschiavo. In the past, Edmonton Oil Kings have been great. Just going off my own memory, I believe Curtis Lazar was one as well as Mark Pysyk. In the past, I didn’t track where I sent cards but the last year or so, I started to track – especially since I get requests on where I’ve sent autographed items through the mail. As for Vince, he returned this card, signed, in just under a month via the Oil Kings.
Nice to see Vince get an invite to the Dallas Stars development camp, although it seems like nothing came of it for him.
