If you try and google up “Will Warm”, you might be hard pressed to find the Edmonton Oil Kings’ player, Will Warm. Not to say that Will isn’t important, it’s just that we just passed December and articles about the weather warming up is starting to take effect. I suppose it just happens to be that Will’s last name coincides with another word in the dictionary!
To be clear, hockey player Will, is an important player for the Oil Kings and has represented the leadership team with the coveted “A”. After a couple of season where the Edmonton Oil Kings finished, well, better than stellar, this season seems to be significantly better. The team has started to become a more veteran unit after so much success between 2011 – 2016. Will recently returned to the lineup earlier this year with a lower body injury.
Through 14 games, Will has no points, in which I’m assuming he’s shaking off his rusty scoring touch. In his WHL rookie season, Will scored 24 points and followed it up with a 12 point season in his sophomore year. While I rarely get to see WHL games, I can imagine that Will contributes, significantly, to other aspects of the teams’ success.
Gettin’ the auto
This card was signed by Will Warm as seen here in an Edmonton Oil Kings jersey. I sent to the Oil Kings earlier in the season, getting a return in 38 days. It’s a nice choice of pen (or perhaps by stroke of luck) that he chose to autograph this card. The black sharpie, surprisingly, looks to contrast well against his blue pants. I’m sure if he had picked up a blue sharpie, it’d be much harder to see his signature.
Hopefully adding Will from his injury will continue the success Edmonton has had this season.

Not a bad tilt for someone who doesn’t seem to get into penalty trouble all too often
