I’ll have to say that the autograph from Zach Werenski isn’t exactly my favorite in the world.  I’ll also say it isn’t the worst I’ve seen either.

Zach is currently a defenseman for the Columbus Blue Jackets and was drafted into the league during the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.  He was selected 8th overall in a draft that brought in talents such as Connor McDavid, Jack Eichel and Brock Boeser.  Although there have been some great players to come through this draft, Zach is one of five draftees to have participated in the NHL All-Star game.

Overall, Zach has been a solid player, netting both 47 and 37 points in his first two seasons, respectively.  At 21 years of age, he’s got a super bright future ahead of him!

Gettin’ the auto

I’m positive that Zach doesn’t use this signature to sign cheques but after years of fans asking for his autograph, I can’t blame him for simplifying it.  I got Zach’s autograph in 284 days when I sent it to him in November 2017.  My fan mail was sent to the Columbus Blue Jackets arena.  It looks like after getting players like Lukas Sedlak and Boone Jenner, that the team will pass on mail to their current roster players.

Clearly the injury affecting Zach during the 2018 training camp hasn’t affected his ability to help with the offense.

A neat little segment which likely was copied from the late night talk show segments where they have cameras in a car.
